Senior IT Project Manager

Reporting to Project Director, NextGen Program Office, and the role is accountable for managing the implementation of new IT solutions and any necessary interim solutions to support the NextGen business process requirements.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the success of IT projects’ implementation within the NextGen Program.
• Responsible for reviewing & reporting of ALL IT projects within NextGen Program at PMO, Steering Committee & MC Meetings.
• ­ Responsible for ensuring the alignment of:
o Project scope, schedule and budget with the approved program baselines.
o Business requirements with the “To-Be” business processes resulted from the BPR study.
• Ensure all projects comply with PMO Governance Framework, Management Process, Reporting & Documentation requirements; and IT Policies, Standards & Guidelines.
• Responsible for timely escalation of critical and/or significant project issues, conflicts and changes that have material impact on budget, scope and schedule to the Project Director, NextGen Program Office.
• Manage & control the approved scope, budget, schedule, project resources, & requirement change requests.
• Manage the planned project activities and deliverables and actively escalated any conflicts or issues to NextGen Project Director for direction and resolution.
• Work closely with the Business Functional Management and NextGen Workstream Managers to ensure NextGen objectives are met.
• Work closely with the Transition Management Manager to ensure that change management activities are carried out according to plan.
• Manage IT project teams & respective team members’ effectiveness & performance in the course of delivering project deliverables.
• Manage & control Vendors’ contractual obligations, performance & quality of deliverables.
• Manage & resolve project risks, issues and conflicts escalated by IT Project Managers and/or resulted from inter-dependencies of project tracks within the same project or other IT projects within the NextGen Program.
