Software Developer
Job Description:
We are seeking self-motivated professionals who are looking for a fresh challenge and are willing to become part of a dynamic team of high-performing individuals. The Software Developer position will suit those accustomed to working closely and openly with other team members to produce quality project deliverables within prescribed time-frames. This position is on a 2-year contract basis.
Responsibilities
- Writing code using ASP.Net/C#
- Creating automated unit tests
- Collaborating with System Analysts to deliver functionalities
- Following design directions from the Technical Architect
- Ensuring coding standards are adhered to
Desired Skills:
Requirements
- A good university degree
- At least 2 years' experience in developing web applications in the Microsoft .Net Framework
- Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL
- Good track record in delivering enterprise-level applications
- Ability to work in a closely-collaborative team environment
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
Desirable Attributes
- Exposure to ORM frameworks such as NHibernate and/or Entity Framework
- Well-versed in unit testing frameworks such as NUnit and/or MbUnit
- Experience in test-driven development practices
- Experience in performing use case-based analysis
- Previous experience in education institutions would be an advantage
