The Challenge:

  • Integrate the proposed solution with the existing systems in use at Pharmacists & General Practitioners.
 
The Solution:Practice Resource System Health Plus tool set currently comprises of:
  • Script Manager
  • Central System
  • Health Plus Manager

The Script Manager captures the scripts that are being printed from the GP Medical System and transmits them to the Central System. The purpose of the Central System is to download the Patient details and Script details, maintain the drug database and various masters like Surgeries, Pharmacies and GP etc and the Patient Drug details. The Health Plus Manager is a Distributed Database application of Pharmacies located all over the United Kingdom connected to the Central Database Repository over ISDN.  The purpose of Health Plus Manager is to print Patient Registration Cards, download new Patient details & Script details, dispensing, label printing, checking drug interactions etc., uploading the Dispensed details including the Over the Counter sales details to the Central System.  It also takes care of stock maintenance at a Pharmacy.
